Hey there! 👋🏼
My name is Sani and I am not a 10x Product Manager.
I am not a product manager that has worked at Airbnb, like Lenny Rachitsky, nor have I written books that have sold millions of copies, like Marty Cagan, Eric Ries, and Gayle McDowell.
No. I am in my late-20s right at the generational border of Millennial and Gen Z working as a Product Manager. I have spent countless hours learning and growing as a product manager the past few years — and I still have plenty more to learn.
I created this notion doc to share some of the things that I have learned ever since I decided to become a product manager many years ago. It was the Summer of 2015 and I was 19.
When I started this page in 2022, I’ve realized that I was at an inflection point in my career. I started to recognize when bad patterns emerge within a team and I needed to step in to adjust how we work. I began to share articles and push the product mindset of the team to ensure we shipped the best products that excite and delight while considering speed of shipping as a trade-off. And since 2020, I’ve gave advice and mentored college students who are interested in product.
Basically in 2022, I had just enough work experience to confidentially share my viewpoint on product management now.

This only came to being by constantly absorbing and learning from extremely great mentors and peers I have worked with in the past, reading a firehose of information through books and articles, and listening to countless of podcasts and videos at 2x speed.
